ADOPT-A-STUDENT

We are starting a new program in the Spring semester where you can “adopt” a college student or two! This is a support system rooted in the wider family of faith. Interested students are paired with ‘adoptive families’ in Oakmont who commit to supporting the student through personal and faithful encouragement.

Ideas for families could include:

- Taking the student(s) out for dinner or inviting them to eat at your house once or twice a month

- If you have children, inviting them to go along to school functions with your family (sporting events, plays, etc.)

- Help them with their laundry

Basically, you're providing them with a home away from home!
