Senior adults are a vital part of the life and ministry of Oakmont Baptist Church. There are Sunday School classes available for Senior Adults at the 8:20 and 11:00 Sunday School hours. Regular activities include a monthly Coffee Talk for fellowship held on the first Tuesday of each month. The second Tuesday of the month will find the seniors enjoying Lunch Bunch at 11:30 a.m. at a different local restaurant. The Senior Adult choir, the Joy Singers, meets each Wednesday at 4:00. This group ministers regularly through music in nursing and retirement homes in the Greenville area. Other activities are scheduled throughout the year including day and overnight trips to points of interest.
