Children

Children's activities at Oakmont exists to help children grow and develop spiritually into the great kids that God wants them to be.  The aim of this ministry is to lay the foundation for your child's spiritual development.  Our goal is to prepare your child for a later personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior.   We offer Sunday School classes for all ages during the 9:40 and 11:00 a.m. sessions.  We also provide Children's Choirs on Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m. and mission groups (Ras and GAs) on Wednesday nights at 6:45 p.m.  Thoughout the year we provide spiritual formation classes, special events, and chances to attend mission projects and camps.

Keeping Children Safe

All of our workers with preschoolers, children, and youth are Oakmont members and complete a Childcare Worker's Application.  Some things parents can do to keep their preschoolers safe...

  • Please do not leave your child in an unattended room.
  • Please do not leave your child with only one teacher present.
  • All children must remain with their parents or guardian prior to scheduled activities.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult to their room.
  • When an activity is over, please pick up your child promptly.
  • Teachers cannot give medication to children.
