About
Who We Are
Jesus said, “Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” In our worship and Bible study and fellowship, we strive to be attentive to Christ’s presence among us. Through our service and witness in the community, we strive to practice the same attentiveness to Jesus as he moves among our neighbors. We would be honored if you joined us on this journey!
When two or three and more are gathered at Oakmont each Sunday for worship and Sunday School, there are babies and toddlers, senior adults, and people at every age in between! Together, through our words and actions, we hope to share the love of Jesus with each other and with our hurting world.
We hope you will find with us a place to belong and a family with whom you grow in love for God and love for people. And, we believe your presence at Oakmont will strengthen our life together and our work and witness in the community. Welcome to Oakmont!

Babies and other preschoolers (through our 5-year-old class) have age appropriate classes during our worship service. These classes are located on the Preschool Hall. To reach the Preschool Hall from the Sanctuary, go down the Gallery (the red hallway), and continue straight down the Preschool Hall.
When children reach kindergarten, we embrace them as they join their parents in worship, and we're okay if they squirm around a bit in the pews! We celebrate their presence with a children's sermon in every worship service, where they come to the front of the sanctuary and receive a message just for them, while the rest of us listen in and are blessed.
